The Corporate Counsel (Litigation) at Aya Healthcare will provide legal expertise focusing on employment and wage and hour matters. This role requires exceptional communication and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The position can be remote within California.

Key responsibilities include counseling internal clients on nationwide employment issues such as wage and hour concerns, reasonable accommodations, internal investigations, benefits, and employee classification. The role also involves drafting and reviewing employment and HR-related policies and procedures, providing guidance for the defense of lawsuits and claims against the company, and monitoring developments in employment laws to assess legal risks.

Required qualifications include admission to the State Bar of California in good standing, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school, and over five years of experience in employment and wage and hour matters. Preferred experience includes work in healthcare, staffing, or services industries, and prior experience at a mid to large-sized law firm or in-house legal department. Strong research, project management, negotiation skills, and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
