HP Hood LLC, a leading food and beverage manufacturer established in 1846, is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its Law Department at the corporate headquarters in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. The Legal Department collaborates closely with various business units to provide comprehensive legal support across the organization.

In this role, the Corporate Counsel will offer legal guidance on advertising, marketing, promotions, product claims, and labeling for Hood's brands. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, such as NDAs, purchasing, professional services, sponsorship, licensing, SaaS, and technology agreements. The position also involves advising on commercial transactions, compliance matters, and providing legal support for cross-functional projects based on business needs.

Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, ideally in both law firm and in-house settings, is required. Proficiency in advertising and marketing law, along with significant experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, is essential. Experience in areas such as data privacy or information security is preferred but not mandatory.

The compensation for this position ranges from $165,000 to $185,000 USD annually, with exact figures varying based on skills, experience, and location.
