Corporate Counsel, Commercial
Axon is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join its Commercial team, providing legal support for the company's commercial transactions and partnerships. This role involves working closely with business leaders to navigate complex legal issues and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Corporate Counsel will be integral to Axon's mission of delivering innovative public safety solutions through effective legal guidance.
In this position, the Corporate Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including sales contracts, licensing agreements, and partnership deals. The role requires proactive engagement with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks, as well as providing strategic advice to support business objectives. Additionally, the Corporate Counsel will monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations to ensure Axon's operations remain compliant.
Candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, preferably within the technology or public safety sectors, is required. Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
