Corporate Controller

The Corporate Controller at Axiom will lead the global accounting, tax, treasury, and financial reporting operations, overseeing all aspects of the monthly close process. This role involves analyzing financial results, preparing for and executing periodic audits, including those for international entities, and interacting with department heads to ensure timely capture of expenses.

Key responsibilities include leading global accounting teams, resolving technical accounting queries, ensuring accurate month-end closes per US GAAP, preparing and presenting monthly financial statements, overseeing tax and statutory compliance, managing treasury functions, and supporting due diligence processes related to private equity ownership and potential M&A activities.

Candidates should possess a CPA qualification (or equivalent), ideally with Big Four accounting firm training, a strong technical accounting background, experience across core finance areas including tax and treasury exposure, comfort operating in a global, complex environment with US GAAP knowledge, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to resolve technical accounting matters.

The annual base salary for this role in Chicago, Illinois, ranges from $200,000 to $230,000, with a 30% bonus potential, depending on experience. Additional benefits include healthcare, life and disability coverage, 401K with company match, paid sick and personal time off, and paid parental leave.
