Copy of Senior Plant & Equipment Engineer

BESIX Group is seeking a Senior Plant & Equipment Engineer to join its Plant & Equipment department, which manages a large fleet of capital equipment for civil construction projects and foundation machines. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to BESIX's operations across various international locations.

The Senior Plant & Equipment Engineer will lead the mobilization and demobilization of equipment for both national and international projects. Responsibilities include providing expert support to operational teams on-site, collaborating with the methods department, overseeing the technical and administrative follow-up of the equipment fleet, mentoring junior engineers, and conducting regular equipment inspections to support local teams on international projects.

Candidates must hold a master's degree in industrial or civil engineering with a specialization in mechanics or electro-mechanics. Relevant work experience in plant, equipment, or construction-related engineering is required. Proficiency in Dutch is mandatory, along with a good knowledge of French and excellent English skills. A passion for technology, machines, and engines, combined with a hands-on mindset, is essential. The role also demands flexibility and a willingness to travel worldwide, with missions abroad lasting up to one month.
