Contracts Manager
Silicon Ranch Corporation, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Nashville, Tennessee. The company specializes in developing, building, owning, and operating utility-scale solar energy projects across North America. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the commercial aspects of these projects, ensuring that all contractual agreements are effectively managed and executed.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the sourcing and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive bid packages, and facilitating communication with potential contractors and suppliers. You will coordinate bid evaluations, focusing on price, schedule, scope, and commercial risk, and present award recommendations to leadership. Additionally, you will negotiate and draft commercial terms and conditions, manage supplier relationships, and identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in contract management, commercial, or procurement roles, with at least two years directly working with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) or construction contracts. Experience in utility-scale renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or large construction/EPC projects is preferred. Strong negotiation skills, proficiency in drafting and administering commercial agreements, and a solid understanding of key commercial terms are essential.
