Construction Senior Sourcing Specialist
The Construction Senior Sourcing Specialist at Eurofins is a pivotal role within the North America-based Procurement Department. This position involves full end-to-end ownership of assigned categories, including project identification, sourcing leadership, and prioritization in alignment with the Category Manager. The specialist will lead and integrate assigned portfolios related to mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless procurement processes across the organization.
Key responsibilities include building a project pipeline, leading the sourcing process with the support of technical experts, and negotiating with suppliers to achieve significant cost savings while enhancing quality and reducing delivery times. The role also entails managing relationships with stakeholders up to the level of Eurofins Laboratory Executives, understanding laboratory business requirements, and driving sourcing initiatives that align with organizational goals.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 3-4 years of purchasing or related experience, preferably within the construction industry. A background in business, finance, supply chain, or sciences is preferred. Proficiency in Excel, including the use of pivot tables and standard functions, is essential. Experience with Coupa Source-to-Pay is advantageous but not mandatory. Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a self-motivated, performance-driven mindset are crucial for success in this role.
