Community Engagement Lead
Peregrine Technologies is seeking a Community Engagement Lead to spearhead our efforts in engaging with the communities we serve. This pivotal role involves developing strategies and building relationships to ensure our AI-enabled platform is effectively integrated into public safety organizations, state and local governments, and federal agencies. The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of government affairs, communications, public relations, and go-to-market strategy, collaborating closely with sales teams, product leaders, and government partners to enhance operational success and public support.
Key responsibilities include mapping the civic and political landscape in new jurisdictions, identifying allies and key influencers, conducting community listening sessions, preparing stakeholders for public meetings, and supporting government partners through council approvals. The role also entails creating scalable approaches for community engagement, such as stakeholder mapping, local narrative development, public meeting preparation, coalition building, and transparent response to emerging concerns. Additionally, the Community Engagement Lead will translate complex technical capabilities into accessible language, ensuring communities understand how Peregrine's technology supports public safety and government coordination.
The ideal candidate will have experience running campaigns, navigating city halls, managing high-stakes public debates, or building coalitions to pass initiatives. Strong skills in government affairs, communications, public relations, and strategic planning are essential. The ability to translate complex technical information into clear, community-focused messaging is also crucial.
