Divergent is seeking a Communications Manager to execute and support the company's communications initiatives, ensuring that Divergent's innovation, credibility, and growth story are clearly communicated to internal and external stakeholders. This role reports to the Communications & Marketing Director and is based in Torrance, California.

The Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's brand narrative by implementing messaging frameworks across press, digital, event, and internal communications. Key responsibilities include drafting press releases, media pitches, and briefing materials; creating and managing high-quality content such as blog posts, case studies, white papers, executive presentations, and social media content; assisting in the preparation of executive communications; supporting internal communication initiatives; and aiding in crisis communications during high-pressure situations. Additionally, the role involves supporting the planning and execution of trade shows, industry events, product launches, and webinars by developing messaging, collateral, and on-site communications materials.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, along with 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or content development, preferably in high-tech, manufacturing, aerospace, or defense-related industries. Strong writing and editing skills, the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear messaging, experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and strong organizational skills are essential. Willingness to support industry events and occasional travel is also required.

The compensation for this role ranges from $127,260 to $174,960 annually.
