Commercial Property Manager
The Commercial Property Manager at Public Storage is responsible for overseeing the operations of a significant commercial real estate portfolio. This role involves direct collaboration with Operations and Facilities teams to ensure properties are maintained to the highest standards, aligning with the company's commitment to excellence in property management.
Key responsibilities include managing tenant reconciliations for operating expenses, taxes, and insurance, as well as tracking property expenses to ensure budget alignment. The manager will conduct routine property inspections, develop detailed capital plans, and oversee property inspection reports to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budgets. Additionally, the role involves assigning tenant work orders and developing business processes to effectively manage vendors.
Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of property management experience, preferably within commercial real estate. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, though equivalent experience will be considered. The role requires strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and organizational skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is essential, with experience in ARGUS and Yardi being highly desirable.
The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Public Storage offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and other incentives.
