Commercial Lines Account Manager - Insurance
Storable, a leading technology and integrated insurance platform in the self-storage industry, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its commercial insurance agency operations. This role involves managing daily office operations, focusing on serving the self-storage sector, and collaborating closely with Sales, IT, and Management teams to enhance the customer experience.
Key responsibilities include processing applications, preparing quotes and proposals, issuing policies, certificates, endorsements, billing, and policy changes for clients. The Account Manager will manage an assigned book of business, gather necessary information for insurance renewals and new business, assist with claim processing, and maintain accurate records in the Applied EPIC Agency Management System. Additionally, the role involves explaining products and services to clients, handling premium financing, and identifying and addressing clients' coverage needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a Property & Casualty License, with additional accreditations such as CISR, CIC, CRM, or CPIA being desirable. Superior organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and exceptional verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in office software applications, including Microsoft Office and G Suite, is required, along with experience using the Applied EPIC system. A minimum of three years of commercial insurance experience is mandatory.
