The Commercial Leasing Manager will oversee leasing operations within their territory, including identifying qualified prospects and securing tenants at or above plan; leading negotiations for new leases and renewal negotiations; managing tenant relationships and retention strategies; marketing and maintaining online listings across industry platforms; ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations; supporting coordination of tenant buildouts and lease-ready work efforts; and maintaining CRM data while preparing regular leasing activity reports.

Key responsibilities include securing qualified tenants for vacant units at or above budget expectations, leading the end-to-end deal process from proposal through lease signing, executing strategic renewals to support optimal occupancy, conducting property tours, and identifying new business opportunities. The role also involves collaborating with Operations and Property Management to maintain market-ready spaces, visiting all vacant units quarterly, managing third-party brokers, leading marketing efforts across various platforms, maintaining property competitive sets and asset plans, staying informed on market statistics and trends, supporting the annual budget process, maintaining CRM data, providing leasing activity reports, resolving tenant rent or collection issues, and supporting special projects as assigned.

Candidates should have over five years of commercial leasing experience, strong communication and transactional skills, attention to detail, the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, and the capability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Property Management, Accounting, and other departments.

The base pay range for this position is $95,000 to $112,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses or incentives.

Public Storage values in-person collaboration and expects teammates to work in the office five days each week, with the option to take up to three flexible remote days per month.
