Cloud Operations Engineer

Neo4j is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our Cloud Managed Services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful deployment and management of Neo4j databases in production environments, contributing to the company's mission of transforming data into knowledge through graph intelligence.

As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will participate in on-call rotations to address incidents affecting cloud infrastructure availability. Your responsibilities include managing and monitoring customer database environments, improving and automating operational processes, and collaborating with various teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.

The ideal candidate possesses over five years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and proficiency with Linux operating systems. Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, and monitoring tools such as Nagios and Prometheus is desirable.
