Closing Paralegal

In this role, the Closing Paralegal is responsible for drafting amendments and waiver letters, organizing and tracking closing documentation for loan transactions, assisting with pre-closing and closing activities, collecting signature pages, preparing wire transfer requests, and filing UCC filings, including continuation and termination statements. Additional duties include performing lien and litigation searches, conducting corporate entity searches, preparing and managing collateral release documents, scheduling post-closing meetings with various departments, tracking and following up on post-closing documents, and managing and updating post-closing checklists. The position also involves serving as the Asana manager, creating and maintaining client files, uploading files to corporate cloud document management systems and Salesforce, maintaining tracking for loan amendments, coordinating department meetings, mailings, and filing projects, and providing post-closing support for NFF’s NMTC team.
