Client Account Manager
The Client Account Manager at xAI will collaborate with Fortune 500 advertisers to understand their objectives, recommend best practices, and develop effective, high-impact advertising campaigns. They will educate and consult clients on leveraging xAI's advertising products, sharing best practices to create and execute successful campaigns. The role involves executing, optimizing, and analyzing advertising programs using internal tools and dashboards to maximize performance and results. Additionally, the Client Account Manager will resolve campaign issues promptly and effectively, identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency. They will manage contracts and renewals, supporting the Sales Finance team with payables and collections to ensure smooth operations. Providing actionable feedback to product and tools teams to help scale and improve xAI's advertising platform is also a key responsibility. Mentoring new team members and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture as the organization grows is expected. This is an in-person role based in New York City, NY (onsite).
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience managing digital marketing programs for advertisers or their agencies. They should demonstrate the ability to create, develop, and enhance customer relationships, driving trust and collaboration. Proven skills in managing large customer relationships, navigating conflicts, and guiding groups to effective business decisions are essential. A track record of translating marketing objectives into measurable results, with experience optimizing campaigns by analyzing performance and adjusting key drivers, is required. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues, are necessary. The candidate should have an aptitude for working in small, collaborative teams with minimal supervision and a strong understanding of the digital marketplace and the competitive landscape in which xAI operates. A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent relevant experience is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience working with Fortune 500 advertisers or agencies in verticals such as retail, technology, or media. Familiarity with xAI's advertising products and the broader social media advertising ecosystem is advantageous. Proven ability to mentor or onboard team members in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is desirable. A passion for xAI's mission to protect freedom of speech and foster open public discourse is important. Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive campaign optimization and strategic decisions, are beneficial.
