Cleanroom Environmental Monitoring Associate – 2nd Shift (Sun–Wed)
Eurofins is seeking a Cleanroom Environmental Monitoring Associate to join our Quality Control team in Rensselaer, New York. This full-time, second-shift position runs from Sunday to Wednesday, 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with training scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Eurofins is a global leader in life sciences, providing a comprehensive range of analytical testing services to ensure product safety and quality across various industries.
In this role, you will perform routine environmental monitoring within controlled cleanroom and process areas to ensure compliance with environmental and aseptic standards. Responsibilities include collecting samples from high-purity water systems, clean steam, and compressed gases, supporting daily lab operations such as cleaning controlled temperature units and operating autoclaves, assisting with equipment calibration and maintenance, and utilizing the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample logging and data tracking. Participation in rotating schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage, is required to support 24/7 operations.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field and possesses the ability to meet physical demands such as lifting 25+ lbs, standing or walking for extended periods, and handling equipment. Strong organizational skills, proficiency with computer systems, and excellent written and verbal communication are essential. Candidates should be able to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating a positive and adaptable attitude. Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction is required.
Eurofins offers a competitive hourly rate between $19 and $22, depending on education and experience, with a 10% shift differential.
