Claim Supervisor - Digital Insurance

This role focuses on managing claims within the Gadget/MPAR category, ensuring efficient processing and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of Claims Analysts, contributing to Cermati's mission of simplifying access to financial products through innovative online solutions.
The Claim Supervisor will oversee the end-to-end claims handling process for the Gadget/MPAR category, ensuring that SLAs for each client are consistently met in terms of review and payment timelines. Responsibilities include managing aftersales vendors such as service centers and logistics providers, controlling daily activities of the Claims Analyst team to maintain productivity, and generating regular performance reports for clients and insurers. Additionally, the role involves establishing and maintaining strong relationships with insurer claims teams to facilitate smooth workflows and effectively negotiating on behalf of customers regarding claim needs and queries.
Candidates should possess a minimum bachelor's degree in any field or have at least three years of experience in a claims team leader role, specifically within the gadget, electronics, or Movable All Risks categories. A strong work ethic and a focus on fulfilling customer needs are essential. The role requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, as well as flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including shifts and weekend availability. Proficiency in maintaining good relationships with insurance company claims teams and strong negotiation skills from the customer's perspective are also critical.
