Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) - Aequitas Solutions
The Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) at Aequitas Solutions will lead the company's product vision, technical strategy, and engineering execution. In this role, the CPTO will take full ownership of the product vision, technical strategy, and engineering execution, driving the platform forward. The position requires establishing AI-first development as the operating standard, defining the modernization roadmap for a platform with a significant legacy technology footprint, and building the team structure and discipline needed to deliver on a multi-year product vision. The CPTO will report directly to the CEO and be part of the Aequitas leadership team, collaborating with the Director of Customer Success, Director of Finance, and heads of Sales and Marketing.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in senior product and technology leadership roles within SaaS or enterprise software environments. Proven success in leading large-scale modernization of legacy platforms into secure, cloud-ready architectures is essential. Deep technical expertise distributed systems, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern architectural patterns is required. Strong product leadership capability, including roadmap governance, prioritization, and lifecycle management, is necessary. Experience leading technology transformation in mission-critical, operationally intensive environments is important. Demonstrated ability to define and deliver data, analytics, and AI strategies within SaaS or enterprise platforms is crucial. A hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels is expected. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence executives, customers, and technical teams are vital.
Compensation for this role includes a competitive salary range of $250,000–$300,000 on-target earnings (OTE). The position is remote, with a preference for candidates in the Pacific Time Zone, particularly in Southern California. Aequitas Solutions offers a collaborative and autonomous work environment, providing the CPTO with the authority to lead the function and make impactful decisions.
