Chief Engineer (Aerospace)
The Chief Engineer for Strategic Systems at Voyager Technologies, Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the complete technical lifecycle of solid rocket propulsion system programs. Key responsibilities include directing cross-functional teams through design reviews and qualification milestones, ensuring producibility and compliance with technical data requirements. The Chief Engineer will focus on critical path management, proactively deconflicting resources, and driving schedule performance through aggressive task management and alternative execution strategies. Additionally, the role involves establishing and maintaining lean technical scope baselines, monitoring cost performance indices, and managing stakeholder relationships by presenting programmatic material and providing data-driven technical alternatives.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related discipline, along with 15 years of experience in solid rocket propulsion. The role requires the ability to lead engineering teams through program milestones, maintain focus on critical paths, and manage technical scope baselines effectively. Additionally, candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
