Chief Creative Officer
Monks is seeking a Chief Creative Officer (CCO) to lead and elevate the creative vision for its North American operations. This role offers the opportunity to guide a globally recognized, culturally-driven creative force at the forefront of marketing and innovation. The CCO will be instrumental in shaping the future of advertising, storytelling, and brand experiences within the company.
The Chief Creative Officer will lead and inspire multi-disciplinary creative teams, ensuring that all work is bold, strategic, and beautifully executed. Responsibilities include partnering closely with leadership across disciplines—strategy, production, account, and operations—to develop pitch-winning ideas and transformative campaigns. The CCO will also represent Monks publicly, presenting work, pitching to clients, and embodying the company's creative vision.
Candidates should have over 15 years of experience in creative leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a CCO or equivalent. A portfolio showcasing culturally significant work and major brand campaigns that have driven business success and earned accolades is essential. Experience across brand, digital, social, content, and experiential platforms is required, along with strong business acumen and a people-first approach that builds trust and confidence among clients and colleagues.
Monks offers a competitive salary range of $360,000 to $400,000 USD, along with excellent, full coverage medical, dental, and vision insurance.
