Chemical Engineering Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

This role involves collaborating with advanced language models to enhance their understanding of chemical engineering concepts. As a Chemical Engineering Specialist, you will work remotely on a freelance basis, contributing to the development of AI systems that support scientific discovery and industrial processes.

Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with AI models on real-world engineering scenarios and theoretical questions, verifying the factual accuracy and logical soundness of their outputs, capturing reproducible error traces, and suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in chemical engineering or a closely related field. Experience with process simulations, lab-scale or pilot-plant operations, and industry-standard tools like Aspen Plus or COMSOL is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, particularly in articulating complex concepts clearly, are essential.

Compensation ranges from $8 to $65 per hour, depending on experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, you are expected to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.
