Certification Service Manager
Eurofins, a global leader in VOC emission testing and product certification, is seeking a Certification Service Manager to join their team in Galten, Denmark. This role focuses on managing certification services, including the Indoor Air Comfort Gold Certification, which consolidates various European VOC emission requirements into a single framework. The successful candidate will collaborate with a competent and fast-growing team dedicated to assisting clients in differentiating their products and safeguarding brand integrity through rigorous product and production quality assurance.
The Certification Service Manager will serve as the primary liaison between customers, the sales organization, and the laboratory. Key responsibilities include preparing and updating quotations for both existing and new clients, coordinating necessary testing and production site audits with internal laboratories and audit personnel, and maintaining data within the certification planning tool. The role also involves reviewing testing and audit reports, issuing certification reports and certificates, and conducting portions of production site audits (factory production control) across Europe. The position requires travel primarily within Europe for client visits, audits, and coordination meetings, with an expected travel commitment of less than 15%.
Candidates should possess a degree in a related scientific field and demonstrate proven experience in the certification of construction products or quality management systems, with a foundational understanding of certification processes and relevant standards. Alternatively, experience in VOC emission testing with knowledge of applicable VOC emission requirements and schemes for construction products is acceptable. Effective written and oral communication skills in English and a second European language are essential, with additional language skills considered advantageous. A basic understanding of production processes for construction products such as floor coverings, insulation materials, and coatings is desirable. The ideal candidate will exhibit quick adaptability, a structured and disciplined work approach, and the ability to collaborate remotely with team members across Europe and Asia.
