Case Manager (Spanish Speaking)

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) Case Manager to join their team in Louisville, Kentucky. As a Case Manager, you will be highly organized and capable of managing a varied caseload, assisting attorneys in developing settlements, and preparing necessary documents and correspondence. The ideal candidate is customer-focused and empathetic.

In this role, you will interact daily with existing and potential clients via telephone and in person, order medical records from providers, and communicate with clients and providers during the course of treatment. You will obtain documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions, interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, and work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files. Maintaining organized case files, preparing comprehensive demands, and assembling support for submission to carriers under the direct supervision of an attorney are also key responsibilities. Additionally, you will interact with attorneys and present case synopses when required, and manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney.

To qualify for this position, you must be fluent in Spanish. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager, Prelitigation Paralegal, or Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster. At least 2 years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is strongly preferred. The ability to be a team player, proactively interact with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, and possess strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing at least 35 words per minute is required. Please note that remote and/or hybrid work options are not eligible for this position.
