Case Manager

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a highly organized and empathetic Case Manager to join their team in Alpharetta, Georgia. As a Case Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assisting attorneys with developing settlements, preparing documents, and managing a varied caseload. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and possess strong organizational skills.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include daily interactions with existing and potential clients via telephone and in person, ordering medical records from providers, and communicating with clients and providers during the course of treatment. You will also obtain necessary documents to support injury and liability positions, interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, and work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files. Maintaining organized case files, preparing comprehensive demands, and assembling support for submission to carriers under the direct supervision of an attorney are also essential aspects of this position.

To be considered for this role, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. At least two years of experience working in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster are strongly preferred. The ability to be a team player, proactively interact with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, and manage workload with minimal supervision is crucial. Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are required.
