Case Manager in Training

The Case Manager in Training position at Morgan & Morgan is designed to provide comprehensive support and training across various legal case teams. This role involves shadowing experienced Case Managers, ordering medical records, investigating case facts, preparing demands, assembling supporting documentation, and drafting settlement-related correspondence. The position serves as a preparatory step for advancement to a full-fledged Case Manager role within the firm.

Daily responsibilities include assisting in organizing and maintaining client files, processing records requests, preparing legal documents and letters, mailing materials, and performing general office duties. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, attention to detail, and proficiency in computer programs and databases. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for interacting with clients, attorneys, and other staff members.

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of experience in an administrative assistant, insurance adjuster, or support role, preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department. A typing speed of at least 35 words per minute is required. The ability to work on-site is mandatory, as remote work is not eligible for this position.

Compensation for this role starts at $20 per hour, with potential for growth as the employee progresses to a Case Manager position. Full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
