Carbon Footprint Assessor

Eurofins Assurance India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Carbon Footprint Assessor to join our team dedicated to sustainable supply chain solutions. As a leading certification body, we provide audit, certification, and inspection services across various sectors, including food, cosmetics, consumer products, and healthcare. Our mission is to help clients mitigate risks and benchmark performance in operations, processes, systems, and capabilities.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations and quantifications of greenhouse gas emissions from individuals, organizations, or industrial processes. Your responsibilities will include performing audits to measure and analyze carbon emissions, identifying areas for improvement, recommending strategies to reduce carbon footprints, and providing guidance on sustainable practices. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement emission reduction plans, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field. Certification in carbon footprint assessment methodologies such as ISO 14064 or the GHG Protocol is beneficial. Prior experience in conducting carbon footprint assessments, implementing emission reduction strategies, or working with environmental management systems is advantageous. Familiarity with carbon accounting methodologies, greenhouse gas emissions inventorying, and environmental regulations is essential, along with knowledge of relevant Indian environmental laws and international standards.
