Call Center Representative (Appointment Setter)
LendingTree is seeking a Call Center Representative (Appointment Setter) to join their QuoteWizard division's Warm Transfer Verification program. This role involves engaging with customers who have applied online for free insurance quotes, connecting them with suitable insurance providers. The position is fully remote, allowing team members to work from home while contributing to LendingTree's mission of simplifying financial decisions for consumers.
Key responsibilities include making outbound and receiving inbound calls to assist customers in obtaining insurance quotes. Representatives will ask qualifying questions to match callers with appropriate insurance companies, maintain professionalism in a high-volume call environment, adhere to scripted processes, and strive to meet and exceed performance targets.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma and have 2-3 years of call center experience in customer service or sales. Experience in outbound telemarketing and working within a commission-based compensation structure is preferred. Attention to detail, strong work ethic, excellent attendance, flexibility in scheduling, and technical proficiency are essential. Applicants must have their own audio/video-capable laptop or desktop for training purposes.
The compensation package includes an hourly wage of $17.00, with uncapped monthly commission potential averaging between $500 and $3,000. Additional incentives include a $500 sign-on bonus after 30 days, a $100 monthly attendance bonus after 60 days, and access to organizational benefits and performance incentives.
