The Calibration Engineer at Eurofins is responsible for maintaining a robust and compliant calibration system across all site assets. This role ensures the accuracy and reliability of equipment and measurement systems critical to the manufacturing and testing of medical and other devices. The engineer supports maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence and audit readiness.

Key responsibilities include managing the calibration of all equipment and measuring instruments in a timely and efficient manner, in line with company standards and regulatory requirements. The engineer develops and maintains the master calibration schedule, coordinates calibration work orders, reviews calibration results, and ensures proper documentation and labeling of instruments. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and updating local calibration procedures, analyzing calibration data to optimize intervals, developing in-house calibration capabilities, and participating in continuous improvement projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, Metrology, or Instrumentation, with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in calibration and metrology is required, along with knowledge of GMP/ISO 13485 standards. Fluency in both English and Dutch, both spoken and written, is mandatory. Proficiency in information systems such as ERP, Maximo, Quality Systems, and Documentation Control Systems is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate strong collaboration skills, the ability to build effective working relationships, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
