Business Unit Manager – Blood Collection Points
Eurofins is seeking a commercially driven Business Unit Manager to lead and expand our Blood Collection Points business in Tuscany. This role involves overseeing approximately 12 blood collection sites, focusing on customer acquisition, volume growth, and enhancing commercial performance. The position reports directly to the Managing Director within the Clinical Italy organization.
Key responsibilities include driving the commercial performance of the Blood Collection Points Business Unit with an emphasis on revenue growth and increased customer volumes. The manager will develop and implement local commercial strategies to attract new customers, strengthen market presence, and identify growth opportunities across existing and new locations. Additionally, the role involves designing and executing customer acquisition initiatives, partnerships, and local visibility actions, as well as analyzing performance data to prioritize high-impact commercial actions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, sales, retail, or service-driven environments, with a proven ability to grow customer volumes and develop local markets. Exposure to business performance management, including KPIs, revenue, and margins, is essential, with P&L exposure considered a plus. Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills are required, along with the ability to bring fresh commercial ideas from outside the clinical sector. A degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred, and fluency in Italian is mandatory, with English proficiency being an advantage. The candidate should be based in Tuscany, possess good local knowledge, and be willing to travel between sites.
