Business Relationship Manager (Lagos)
Moniepoint is seeking a Business Relationship Manager to join our dynamic team in Lagos. As a leading financial services platform in Africa, Moniepoint provides comprehensive banking solutions to over 3 million users, processing a significant portion of Nigeria's POS transactions. This role is integral to our mission of empowering businesses through innovative financial services.
The Business Relationship Manager will be responsible for acquiring new POS merchants, developing effective sales strategies, and identifying opportunities for business growth. Key duties include engaging in business development activities, cross-selling bank products, conducting market research, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. The role also involves participating in community marketing events and collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets.
Candidates should possess 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the banking, fintech, or related industries. A strong understanding of the local financial services sector, experience in merchant onboarding, and a proven track record in selling lending services and POS devices are essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. A tertiary education from a recognized institution is required.
