Business Intelligence, Lead

Waymo is seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to join its Product Data Science team, which collaborates with Engineering, Product, and Operations to inform decision-making through data. The team focuses on projects ranging from driving quality and operational efficiency to market analysis and rider satisfaction, all aimed at scaling the Waymo Driver safely and efficiently. This role follows a hybrid work schedule and reports to the Director of Product Data Science.

The Business Intelligence Lead will mentor and guide a team of Business Intelligence Analysts, ensuring the successful and timely delivery of team projects. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining data pipelines, designing dashboards, and conducting analyses for high-priority projects. The role also involves acting as a subject matter expert to enhance business intelligence infrastructure and establishing a network across the company to identify new opportunities and contribute to project prioritization.

Candidates should have strong coding skills in SQL, at least 8 years of relevant experience, and a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role. The ability to influence decision-making through data storytelling and visualization is essential, along with strategic stakeholder education and management skills.

The expected base salary range for this full-time position is $196,000 to $248,000 USD annually. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in the company's discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
