Fever, a leading global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our dynamic team in Madrid. Our mission is to democratize access to culture and entertainment by leveraging cutting-edge technology and data-driven approaches. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging data engineering and business analytics, ensuring our stakeholders can make informed decisions based on reliable and well-structured datasets.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain data models using DBT and SQL to transform raw data into clean, trusted datasets suitable for self-service and reporting. Collaborating closely with the data engineering team, you will define and certify business-critical metrics such as revenue, engagement, marketing performance, and B2B KPIs. Additionally, you will work with various business squads—including B2B, Marketing, CRM, and Product—to understand their data needs and translate them into reusable data assets. Ensuring data quality and consistency will be a key responsibility, achieved by partnering with the data engineering team on testing frameworks, observability, and governance. You will also support self-service analytics by enabling stakeholders to confidently explore data through existing visualization and BI tools or by driving custom developments to effectively tell the data's story. Contributing to Airflow pipelines in Python to support automation and orchestration needs, as well as advancing our data mesh vision by creating domain-owned datasets in line with platform and engineering guidelines, will be integral parts of your day-to-day work.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Spanish and English, as communication with local teams will be in Spanish and with global teams in English. A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is required. You should possess a collaborative mindset, comfortable working with both engineers and business stakeholders, and have strong communication skills adaptable to a multidisciplinary, international, and fast-paced environment. A keen interest in understanding a complex business landscape and driving the company forward by providing data to answer valuable questions is essential. Strong experience with SQL and data modeling (including star/snowflake schemas and data vault), hands-on experience with DBT or similar transformation frameworks, and proficiency in Python and orchestration frameworks like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect are necessary. Familiarity with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, experience with BI tools like Metabase, Superset, or Tableau, and an understanding of data quality, governance, and observability practices are also important.

Fever offers an attractive compensation package consisting of a base salary and the potential to earn a significant bonus for top performance, along with stock options.
