Business Expert - Sales & Business Development
As a Business Expert in Sales & Business Development at xAI, you will join the Human Data Team to create advanced datasets that enhance Grok's AI capabilities. This role involves collaborating with technical staff to label and annotate data, applying your sales expertise to real-world scenarios, and contributing directly to xAI's mission of developing AI systems that understand the universe.
Your primary responsibilities will include addressing sales and business development challenges from actual business cases, providing accurate solutions, detailed annotations, and model critiques. Tasks may involve enterprise deal structuring, multi-stakeholder negotiation simulations, RFP response development, territory planning, and competitive displacement strategies. You will utilize proprietary software to deliver high-quality data and work closely with technical staff to improve annotation tools.
Candidates should have over five years of practical experience in sales or business development, particularly in quota-carrying or enterprise account management roles. Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, or Chorus is essential. Strong judgment in evaluating complex sales scenarios, negotiation outcomes, and buyer psychology is required, along with the ability to navigate sales resources like RFP libraries, contract templates, and competitive analyses. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills are also necessary.
Compensation for U.S.-based candidates ranges from $45 to $100 per hour, depending on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications.
