Business Development Specialist - Employee Benefit Insurance

The company is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join its Employee Benefit Insurance team. This role focuses on expanding the company's reach in the employee benefits sector by developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships.
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for actively contacting prospects, scheduling appointments, delivering sales presentations, and closing new employee benefit accounts. The role involves developing prospecting strategies to increase new business opportunities, managing the renewal process with existing clients, and ensuring all internal procedures are followed during renewals. Additionally, the specialist will provide insurance consultancy services to clients, collaborate with internal teams such as claims, placement, and finance, and monitor after-sales servicing to ensure client satisfaction.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as an Employee Benefit Staff or equivalent in an insurance company or brokerage. Experience in maintaining employee benefit insurance for large companies is essential. A deep knowledge of employee benefit products, especially health insurance policies, is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation preparation, strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal relationship abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities are also necessary.
