Business Development Manager Switzerland Eurofins Professional Scientific Services
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Eurofins Professional Scientific Services (PSS) in Switzerland. This position involves designing and implementing strategic business development initiatives, collaborating closely with leadership to achieve growth objectives, and expanding the company's presence in the Swiss market.
Key responsibilities include acquiring new clients and fostering long-term partnerships, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure, and enhancing brand visibility through participation in industry events such as congresses and seminars. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to develop sales materials and tracking market trends to support business development efforts.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Business, along with over five years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the Biopharma or Life Sciences sectors. A strong local industry network is highly advantageous. The role requires a customer-centric approach, outstanding presentation and communication skills, and fluency in English and German; knowledge of Swiss German and French is a plus. Proficiency in IT solutions, including MS Office and CRM software, is also essential.
