Business Development Manager - Southeast Territory
Eurofins PSS Insourcing is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. This role focuses on expanding our client base and diversifying our service offerings within the Southeast Territory. The position is hybrid, combining remote work from a home office with local and regional travel to meet with prospective and existing clients, as well as spending full days at client sites to enhance networking and relationship-building opportunities.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing the entire sales development cycle from prospecting through project implementation, and developing long-term strategic relationships with clients. Key responsibilities include researching and qualifying leads, engaging with executive-level stakeholders, monitoring competitor activity, and developing action plans to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have 3-5 years of consultative sales experience, preferably within the life sciences industry. A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, proficiency in closing sales, and experience in creating and maintaining client relationships are essential. The role requires a willingness to travel up to 75% of the time within the region and authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
