Business Development Manager - Midwest Territory

Eurofins PSS Insourcing is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. This role focuses on identifying and closing new business opportunities within the Midwest territory, aiming to diversify our client base and expand partnerships. The position is hybrid, combining remote work from a home office with local and regional travel for client meetings and on-site networking.

Key responsibilities include managing the entire sales development cycle from prospecting to project implementation. The role involves researching and qualifying new sales targets, engaging with executive-level stakeholders, and developing long-term strategic relationships to understand and meet client needs. Additionally, the manager will monitor market trends, develop action plans to achieve sales goals, and negotiate contracts.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have 3-5 years of consultative sales experience in professional services, preferably within the life sciences industry. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, proficiency in closing sales, and experience in developing and maintaining client relationships are essential. The role requires comfort with prospecting, quick learning abilities, and willingness to travel up to 75% locally within the region. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required.
