Business Development Manager
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company's objectives.
Key responsibilities include maximizing current markets by understanding and supporting existing accounts, generating new business through identifying and pursuing opportunities in new markets, and overseeing sales and business development strategies. The role also involves developing local strategic growth prospecting and territory action plans, establishing strong relationships with key business contacts, and conducting market research to identify new markets and customer needs.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales growth, with experience in designing and implementing growth strategies. A technical background, ideally holding a BS Degree or higher in the sciences, is preferred. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in sales management tools are essential. The candidate should also be willing to travel and maintain effective communication with clients and trade organizations.
