Business Development Manager
EBANX is seeking a Business Development Manager based in San Francisco or the Bay Area to engage with enterprise-level merchants in digital goods, e-commerce, and marketplaces. This role is pivotal in driving the company's U.S. expansion strategy, collaborating closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to deliver tailored payment solutions that enhance global reach.
Key responsibilities include identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with enterprise merchants to expand market presence and revenue. The role involves building and executing strategic plans to penetrate new verticals, regions, and customer segments, proactively generating leads, conducting market research, and establishing relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, the manager will drive the adoption of EBANX's payment solutions, position the company as a preferred partner, and collaborate with various internal teams to ensure seamless deal execution and client onboarding.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development or strategic sales with global enterprise accounts, particularly within the payments industry. A strong track record of meeting and exceeding business goals is highly valued. Deep knowledge of the merchant payment ecosystem, including payment processing solutions and e-commerce platforms, is essential. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to negotiate and close complex deals and present effectively to senior stakeholders. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and a secondary language is a plus. The candidate should also have experience using Salesforce CRM, familiarity with HubSpot, and hands-on experience with modern lead generation tools. A valid passport and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time are necessary.
