Business Development Manager - Drug Discovery
Eurofins is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its Discovery Services & Products division, a key provider of services and products to the drug discovery research industry. This role involves working within a dynamic team dedicated to serving global clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, contributing directly to advancements in human health.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales of Eurofins Discovery's portfolio, which includes chemistry and pharmacology products and services, within an assigned territory. Key duties involve prospecting potential clients, developing and maintaining client relationships through regular meetings, and providing strategic feedback to align operational strategies with client needs. The role also requires building and updating regional business plans, monitoring competitor activities, and collaborating with senior leaders and marketing teams to promote the Eurofins Discovery brand effectively.
Candidates should possess a minimum of three years' sales experience with a strong understanding of drug discovery, particularly in discovery chemistry. A Bachelor's degree in chemistry, pharmacology, or a related discipline is required. Applicants must have excellent knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug discovery and development process, experience in the CRO market, strong presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders. The role requires residing within the assigned territory and the ability to travel approximately 30-40% of the time, including limited international travel.
