Business Development Manager Corporate M&A
Clifford Chance, a leading international law firm with over 30 offices worldwide, is seeking a Business Development Manager to support its Corporate/M&A practice in Amsterdam. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the firm's European business development strategy, working closely with partners and lawyers to enhance client development and market presence.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing and tailoring significant pitches, maintaining and improving capability materials, and supporting the implementation of business development and marketing plans aligned with the firm's global strategy. Additionally, the role involves coordinating M&A business development initiatives with the wider Corporate team and other business areas, leveraging market and client insights to identify opportunities and trends, and driving the visibility of the practice through events, communications, and thought leadership.
Ideal candidates will have experience in business development within professional services, preferably a law firm, and a solid understanding of Corporate/M&A and the market in which the firm operates. Strong communication and project management skills are essential, along with the confidence to build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders. An academic degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
