Business Development Executive
Eurofins is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive the growth of its Professional Scientific Services (PSS) across the UK and Ireland. This role involves working closely with the Managing Director of PSS UK/IRE and collaborating with an experienced team of PSS operations leaders to achieve consistent and sustainable sales growth in the region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies, identifying and pursuing new PSS opportunities, and analyzing client organizations to uncover service requirements. Key responsibilities include assessing client needs, designing tailored service solutions, creating proposals, presenting to clients, and delivering outcomes that meet revenue and profitability goals. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with global colleagues on multi-regional projects, managing contracting processes for new business, maintaining accurate CRM reporting, and supporting marketing initiatives to promote the Eurofins brand.
Candidates should hold a degree in a life sciences discipline or demonstrate relevant vocational training and business expertise. Proven success in business development at senior levels within the target industry, ideally with experience in Pharma Insourcing, is essential. The role requires confidence in operating within GxP environments, expert knowledge of product commercialization, manufacturing, supply chain processes, and associated testing and service needs within clients' markets. Strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills are also necessary.
