Muon Space is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our team responsible for securing existing and new business opportunities. This role involves analyzing pipeline and customer engagement data, driving process improvements, and ensuring data integrity across multiple portfolios. The position is based in the Washington D.C., Northern Virginia area, reporting to the Senior Director of International Business Development, with an expectation of being in the office three days per week; remote work will be considered.

Key responsibilities include leading CRM activities and reporting, ensuring data integrity and automation, and managing business development metrics. The analyst will oversee pipeline velocity, track progress of top opportunities, and collaborate with Finance and Contracts on award reconciliations and book-to-bill analysis. Additional duties involve preparing leadership briefings, developing business development reports, conducting market research, coordinating conferences and trade show activities, and supporting capture leaders with proposal coordination and deliverables.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree with at least five years of relevant experience or a master's degree with at least three years of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, exceptional attention to detail, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential. The candidate should be comfortable interacting with all organizational levels, work effectively in a team environment, and be capable of obtaining a Secret level security clearance. Preferred qualifications include prior business development experience, strong financial acumen, proficiency in graphics and PowerPoint design, knowledge of government contractor proposal processes, and experience in sales or marketing.

The salary range for this role is $117,000 to $142,000, complemented by a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location as assessed during the interview process.
