Business Developer Maritime Services
Eurofins Maritime Services is seeking a Business Developer to drive growth within the global maritime sector. This role focuses on expanding our client base, introducing new products, and strengthening existing customer relationships. The successful candidate will be instrumental in translating our laboratory services into practical solutions for shipping and maritime companies.
Key responsibilities include identifying and approaching new clients and markets within the maritime industry, developing and executing commercial strategies and sales plans, and advising clients on laboratory tests and solutions tailored to their specific needs. The role also involves presenting commercial proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals, as well as monitoring market trends and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a completed HBO education, preferably in a commercial or maritime direction, and at least 2 years of relevant experience in sales or business development within the maritime sector or laboratory services. Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English are essential, along with a proactive and results-oriented work attitude. A willingness to travel internationally to support clients worldwide is also required.
