Business Analyst - Legal - Nightshift

Monks is seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Colombia, focusing on supporting legal specialists by ensuring seamless alignment between business needs and technical solutions. This role is integral to our operations, requiring collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance our legal processes.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing stakeholder requirements, documenting processes, and defining clear user stories. Key duties include translating user goals into actionable requirements, writing user stories with acceptance criteria, managing the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Manager, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, the role involves mapping processes, performing impact analyses for changes and integrations, and maintaining comprehensive documentation such as user guides and release notes.

Candidates should possess over 8 years of experience in business analysis or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required, along with superior written and verbal communication abilities to effectively bridge the gap between business and engineering teams. Experience handling sensitive or confidential information is advantageous, and familiarity with legal processes, privacy, or compliance regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
