Business Analyst
Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Business Analyst to join the eLIMS-NG program, a suite of integrated Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) applications supporting our global laboratory operations. This role involves collaborating with diverse, multi-cultural teams across various geographical locations to standardize business processes and enhance operational efficiency.
The Business Analyst will act as the intermediary between business stakeholders and the Product Delivery team, proactively communicating and collaborating with both sides. Key responsibilities include identifying new business requirements, evolving business processes, and ensuring that user requirements delivered by the Product Delivery team align with actual business needs. The role also involves capturing and describing non-functional requirements related to business processes, conducting approvals of business requirements with stakeholders, and collaborating closely with the Product Delivery team to ensure clarity and appropriateness of user requirements.
Candidates should possess a master's degree in a scientific, IT, or engineering discipline, with a proven track record as an Agile Business Analyst or Product Owner (3-5 years). Strong skills in building business process models, facilitation, and collaboration with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams are essential. The role requires excellent English language skills, both written and verbal, and personal qualities such as autonomy, organization, and the ability to summarize complex information. Experience in the life sciences domain and/or LIMS systems is advantageous, and hands-on laboratory experience is highly valuable. The position entails some travel.
