Business Analyst

Eurofins's SAM Sensory and Consumer Research (SAM) is seeking a Business Analyst to join their IT Solution team. SAM specializes in sensory and consumer research across various industries, operating in multiple countries. The role involves contributing to the development and maintenance of the SAM information system deployed across eight countries, within an international environment where English is the primary language.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering user requirements, drafting specifications for future developments, modeling and prototyping, monitoring and testing developments, and documentation. Additionally, the role includes providing user support, conducting training sessions, and assisting with deployments of the solution in new countries or sites. Depending on the candidate's skills, there may also be opportunities to create dashboards using business intelligence and data visualization tools.

Candidates should possess a graduate degree from an engineering school or a Master's degree in computer science, data, or project management. A minimum of three years' experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst is required. Experience in sensory analysis or a strong knowledge of statistics is advantageous. Proficiency in SQL is necessary, and familiarity with Python is a plus. The role demands strong analytical skills, the ability to synthesize information, and excellent interpersonal skills. Knowledge of tools such as Power BI or Tableau, along with an interest in artificial intelligence tools, is considered beneficial. Professional proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of French is a plus.
