Builder
Red Cell Partners is seeking a Builder—an AI-first engineer who excels at the intersection of product development, technical execution, and operational problem-solving. This role emphasizes understanding what to build, breaking down ambiguous problems into actionable components, and utilizing modern AI-augmented development workflows to deliver high-quality software efficiently. The Builder will operate autonomously, embodying the resourcefulness and business awareness characteristic of an early-stage founder.
Key responsibilities include breaking down product or business problems into clear technical components and implementation steps, using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and cloud-based coding agents to design, build, and refine systems end-to-end, and configuring and maintaining AI-assisted development workflows, including skills, agents, context blocks, pipelines, tests, and automation. Additionally, the Builder will build early prototypes, internal tools, automation workflows, APIs, and small applications used across the Red Cell ecosystem, and contribute to company-wide initiatives such as new incubation/startup development and ecosystem tooling and developer workflows.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software engineering, machine learning, mobile, systems, or similar fields, demonstrated use of AI tooling in real development work, and the ability to explain how they break down problems, define context, and structure workflows. Experience building systems end-to-end, including products, tools, prototypes, integrations, SDKs, and automations, is essential. An entrepreneurial or operator mindset, with experience building things without explicit instructions, is also required.
Red Cell Partners offers a competitive salary range of $200,000 to $300,000, based on experience, skills, and other factors.
