Biomolecule Production Associate Scientist

Eurofins is seeking a Biomolecule Production Associate Scientist to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This role involves supporting mammalian cell culture, transient transfection, and protein production workflows directly on a client site. The primary responsibilities include maintaining mammalian cell lines using aseptic techniques to ensure a consistent supply for twice-weekly transient transfection processes. The role also involves performing transient transfections, purifying antibodies and proteins using automated equipment under supervision, assisting with molecular biology tasks such as cloning and plasmid preparation after training, accurately documenting experimental procedures and results in client-provided Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs), and analyzing and summarizing data upon training while contributing to troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts.

Candidates should possess a B.S. in Biochemistry or a related field, with 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and mammalian cell culture is essential, along with a basic understanding of molecular biology techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required. Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
