BIM Manager

BESIX Watpac is seeking a BIM Manager to join their VIC Construction team, focusing on strategic BIM management and project delivery. As a subsidiary of the international BESIX Group, the company specializes in complex building and infrastructure projects across various sectors.

The BIM Manager will be responsible for advising on best practice technical BIM processes throughout all project phases, from concept to completion. Key duties include developing BIM Management and Execution Plans, assessing and auditing models, coordinating BIM information, and assisting with project design coordination meetings. Additionally, the role involves integrating BIM processes into the business and providing technical support and training in utilizing BIM information with digital tools.

Candidates should have demonstrated BIM management experience within the building construction industry. Essential qualifications include the ability to implement and improve company and project BIM processes, working knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC, and Drafting Standards, and an understanding of project workflows. Proficiency in software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM Collaborate, AutoCAD, Revizto, and Enscape is also required.
